The career counseling objective is to improve the quality of Pakistani human resource and it is a contribution in long-term generation building exercise.  These sessions encourage academic, personal, and social development.

ECS is actively engaged in conducting Career Counseling sessions at academic institutions for students and in hotels for professionals to encourage personal, academic, and social development.

Career counseling basically consists of four elements:

• Helping individuals to gain greater self-awareness in areas such as interests, values, abilities, and personality style
• Connecting students to resources so that they can become more knowledgeable about jobs and occupations
• Engaging students in the decision-making process in order that they can choose areas of study that is a career path which is well suited to their own interests, values, abilities and personality style.
• Assisting individuals to be active managers of their career paths including managing career transitions and work-life balance; as well as becoming lifelong learners in the sense of professional development over the lifespan.

Activities and Strategies 

ECS career counseling service seeks to meet its objective by using following vital tools:

• Career counseling/advising; by successful professionals at academic institutions & in groups to encourage academic, personal, & social development
• Cooperative programs; is to connect Pakistani academic institutions with employers to engage students in work experience followed by their course work to improve employment opportunity for them
• Job shadowing; connecting students with working individuals to help them to develop better understanding about the nature of the specific jobs to improve decision making about their career paths
• Volunteer work; is to encourage individuals to contribute to their community or to help that cause they believe is important.
• Mentorship & role model; is to connect students with the role models in their specific fields of interests for guidance.
